The arms deal and its fall-out are arguably one of the most significant series of events in South Africa's post-apartheid history.

Paul Holden (author of The Arms Deal in your Pocket) and Hennie van Vuuren (long-time head of the Corruption and Governance Programme at the Institute for Security Studies), have written the definitive book on the subject -- The Devil in the Detail. They will be talking at the Troyeville Hotel on 9 November at 1900 for 1930.

Asking the questions will be Dave Lewis, former unionist, previous head of the Competition Commission, and recently-appoint head of the Cosatu-backed CorruptionWatch.
