Ronnie Kasrils - Xolela Mangcu at the Troyeville Hotel

On Tuesday 20 September, Ronnie Kasrils -- no introduction needed -- will be talking to the equally well-known Xolela Mangcu at the Troyeville Hotel's dinner, booze and book club.

The conversation will revolve around Ronnie's memoir of his wife's activism in the cause of democracy. It raises a question Thabo Mbeki asked when he read this book: "Eleanor's story also poses a question about the future - what are the "little things" each one of us should do to win the new struggle for the further entrenchment of democracy and the defeat of poverty and underdevelopment, acting as our own liberators."

It's a question we'll ask both our guests.

Date: 20 September
